Democrats Victimize Crime and RINOs Embrace Crime in the Stimulus
The $800 billion stimulus package has a provision entitled the "Make Work Pay Act." The Obama Presidency has performed its first miracle! Working for free has to be tough on the family budget. Now, instead of working for free, hard working citizen taxpayers will be rewarded for that work with a tax credit. A tax credit is just a transfer payment, but at least it is something. It beats pro bono work. As with any Democrat policy there are unintended consequences. The victim here is crime. Crime doesn't pay we are told. Crime had lost some of that stigma when work joined it. No more. Crime will still not pay, but crime will not pay on an island by itself. Left alone to be ridiculed directly without the safety of a group. A lone fish without the school. Oh the shame! Thankfully, the House GOP came to their senses via public outcry, and hopefully Conservatism, to unanimously vote against the stimulus bill. A bill that is 10% stimulus and 90% Democrat wish list. Even the items that can be argued as stimulus won't go into effect until 2011. What a crock. Thank goodness for the House GOP and the few Democrats that voted against this thievery. The Senate as well was on the way to defeating this bill due to large public outcry and hopefully just a dash of Conservatism. That is until Obama personally entertained several Senate RINOs: Spector, Snowe, and Collins. These three wastes of GOP space went behind the scenes and claimed to "modify" the bill. Improve it. Instead of being $800 billion, it will be a few billion less thanks to the courage of these three RINO criminals. I'd just like to take a moment to thank President Bush and the RNC for supporting Senator Spector in the 2004 election and not Toomey. Are we glad this traitor was protected now?
