Meghan McCain, daughter of our favorite "Maverick" Senator McCain (R-AZ), has appeared out on nowhere to give various interviews regarding the state of the GOP.  While Ms McCain has been blessed by her mom's good looks, she has been cursed by her dad's bad politics.  This is apparent in her blog.  What surprises me the most is where the heck did she come from?  Aside from being a trust fund baby, where were all her views during the election?  There are certainly some on her blog, but it is more about her dad's failed campaign if anything.  These views weren't widely reported last year?  Whatever the case, Ms McCain is on the loose now that her dad is a two time loser.  I find her argument about the GOP lack of technology use misguided.  Isn't a campaign website using technology?  Don't most candidates have Facebook accounts now?  Don't all politicians have websites for the respective elected office they are holding?  Technology can be a useful tool, but as we know from the past election, the 18-24 year old voters didn't turn out in large numbers.  Overall voter turnout wasn't record breaking either.  Even with the help of the fraudsters ACORN.  Considering Obama had the most online presence, how can this be according to Ms McCain?  The fact is the web presence of the 18-24 year old crowd is superficial and surreal at best.  It is not connected to reality.  Even if these voters seem unified via Obama's Facebook page, that doesn't translate into actual travel to a polling place.  The Internet is about ease of communication.  Not road trips to community centers.  If voting ever went online, well, that is a whole other ball game.  Until then, a larger web presence isn't necessary to GOP hopes.  It is only neccessary to a self-important blogger who wants to make a name for herself.  A CLEAR and UNIFIED Conservative message is golden no matter what format is it in.  Ask President Ronald Reagan.
