The sleuth smiths of the GOP failed to connect the housing bubble collapse with the DFL last year even though there was overwhelming evidence of as much.  Senator Chris Dodd D-CT and Rep Barney Frank D-MA were just filthy stinky with guilt.  It was a very opportune time to turn around McCain's and Republican's falling poll numbers.  However, both the House and Senate GOP approved TARP and now here we are.  Complete DFL control.  Oh what could have been!
