The GOP has taken a new approach to campaigning as they go on their self-esteem tour.  Apparently the GOP has decided to adopt yet another Liberal touchy-feely policy regarding competition.  It used to be that sports such as soccer were competitive events.  That is no longer the case under Liberalism.  Now in an effort to protect feelings and self-esteem, the much coveted first place trophy has turned into a "participation" award.  Yes it is true.  Irregardless of a child's skills, team success, or just common sense, everyone is a winner now.  The GOP sees political gold in this Liberal-kook idiocy.  Just like the banning of red pens to grade tests, the GOP will now indirectly be victorious come election time no matter if they win or the DFL wins. You see, in the political world, where lines are skewed if not gone, 2nd place is just as good as first according to the GOP.  It is only out here in the jungle of reality where winning and loosing matter and we are all losers given the sad state of the GOP.
