President Obama announced the other day new legislation to close tax "loopholes" that "encourage business to move jobs overseas."  Claims it will "recover" $210 billion in new taxes over 10 years.  Loopholes?  These businesses are following the tax code Congress passed.  Perhaps if the Congress would actually read the legislation it votes on or stops trying to micromanage American capitalism there wouldn't be American business overseas?  The tax code is a big bloated joke.  What is it now...25,000 pages?  The USA needs a flat tax on business of maybe 20% to 25% tops.  Capital gains should be 10% tops for long term, 15% short term gains.  The individual tax rate should be 10% for everyone.  Maybe another bracket for anything over some threshold.  Why is it Congress gets to pass bloated tax bills and then act outraged when business follows the law?  This issue is such a sitting duck for the GOP.  Where the heck are they anyway?  Get your act together GOP!
