To their credit, the GOP pushed for an investigation into Speaker Pelosi's (D-CA) claims the CIA lied.  However, the "Most Ethical Congress Ever," Pelosi circa 2006, has shot down that idea.  Ironic how a Congress sooooo enthusiastic to investigate President Bush on policies President Obama has kept, is not so hot to investigate themselves.  It is obvious the Democrats want this story to go away.  Pelosi is in BIG trouble.  A partisan action by President Obama, releasing "torture" memos, has caused HUGE headaches for a Democrat leadership that can't help but stick a foot in their collective mouths.  Beware the CIA you Liberal buffoons!  The BIG winner in this mess, in a political sense, is Dick Cheney.  Cheney's poll numbers are up.  The big loser is national security.  The American people deserve better.  Especially when terrorism is a VERY real threat everyday.

Update 05/28/2009:  Pelosi better watch it because the GOP is still watching her.  Pelosi's accomplices better watch it as well.  The GOP lacks the same tools for investigation that Pelosi does, but they can still keep the issue out front via this great ad.  Game on!
