President Obama has shown many signs of incompetence during his first 100 days in office.  Tax cheat cabinet appointments, reversing the use of Guantanamo Bay to hold terrorists, paying for abortions in other countries, etc, the list is endless.  Up to now, the worse example has been the detention of terrorists in Cuba.  It looks like Congress might prevent the closure, but the fact Obama wants it closed is utter ignorance.  The stakes are many orders of magnitude higher now.  North Korean and Iran are both flexing their "muscle."  North Korea has tested a nuclear device underground along with firing more missles.  Iran is very close to having the ability to field a nuclear weapon with help no less.  Obama met with Israel leader Benjamin Netanyahu, but if he thinks Israel won't attack Iran, Obama is a bigger fool still.  This is serious stuff Obama!  Do you even have the slightest clue what will happen if an all out war breaks out in the Middle East?  Especially if it involves the detonation of a nuclear weapon?  Just look what happened during the Israeli attacks into Lebanon a couple years back.  Oil skyrocketed, the stock market tanked, etc...  Now add in the "glow in the dark" factor.  It would take years if not  adecade or more for the world to recover from an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel.  If Israel just attacks Iran now, there will likely be some sort of conflict, but at least it will be conventional and likely short lived.  If the American people only knew the peril Obama puts us in. Oh UN Ambassador John Bolton, where are you!

Update 05/27/2009:  Great article essentially stating the obvious...  Obama is a weak and ineffectual leader.  You know if the Russians are scared, it is on BIG time...  If Obama had any common sense, he would combine North Korea and Iran into one issue.  To leverage Russia's concern with North Korea to get more cooperation on Iran.  Both countries are threats, but North Korea has a million man army and something like 50,000 artillery pieces sitting on the DMZ. Not good for South Korea.  Iran isn't anywhere near the military powerhouse.  Iran could be disabled from the air in a few days.  I'm talking their military, not nuke facilities.  I believe it was Dick Morris who stated that the way to get cooperation from China on North Korea was to allow Japan to get nukes?

Update 05/28/2009:  Dick Morris had talked about this before, but it is finally posted on his website.  Obama better get focused like a laser soon or there will be blood...
