A 150 Day Senator Becomes 200 Day President

President Barack Obama was only in the Senate for 150 days +/- before starting his 2008 Presidential campaign.  Prior to this, Obama had written two autobiographies, but had never written any significant legislation, and managed to vote "present" scores of times.  Obama didn't even make a mark on the world in the private sector.  Obama was a "community organizer."  Obama's Presidency is at a tipping point.  Obama's poll numbers will likely hit the low 40's as August rolls on.  The Health Care legislation will likely be gutted or completely abandoned.  The bloated federal budget and crazed spending will dog the economy.  Essentially, Obama will find himself in the same shoes as President Bush.  A lame duck.  Obama's Presidency will have lasted a short 200 days.  Look at the bright side though Democrats.  At least Obama outlasted his Senate tenure.  Note:  Bush was a lame duck mostly due to Iraq.  Funny how Iraq isn't an issue anymore.  Guess this means Bush wasn't as much the lame duck as the media wanted us to believe.
