President Obama, DFL, and RINOs Seek Pitchfork Insurance (Updated)

President Barack Obama had bankers visit the White House earlier this year during the height of bank bailout and bonus "outrage."  Obama told these bankers that he was the only thing between them and the pitchforks.  Fast forwarded a few months and now Obama, the Democrats, and various RINOs face the pitchforks due to the pending Health Care socialization.  Obama has dropped in the polls from the mid 60's to the high 40's just over the last month due to the Health Care scam.  Fortunately, the Democrats couldn't get anything passed before the August recess.  Now these Liberal kooks are back in their home districts pimping Obama's Health Care takeover plan.  It isn't going very well.  The peasants have rallied and the pitchforks are coming out here, here, here, here, here, etc...  I just love how the turncoat coward Senator Arlen "Two Timer" Spector (D/R/D-PA) is out pimping this Health Care boondoggle.  Good riddance to his DFL return trip.  Spector is one less RINO to tarnish the GOP.  The Democrats have apparently decided they better do something with or without the GOP.  My guess is it will be a tamer version of Obama's plan in order to secure the Blue Dog Democrat votes to pass it.  The GOP needs to avoid this bill like Chernobyl.  Let the DFL own it and the GOP will own 2010.  The GOP should have an alternate plan and the voters should revolt against the current bill.  Dick Morris has a good posting on this.  Fight the Health Care takeover and let the DFL fight themselves.

Update 08/05/2009:  More pitchforks here.  Funny how a left-wing kook paid protester is a "concerned citizen," but a Conservative protester/s is a "rabble rousing mob."  I say the later is GOP Revolt!
