Average Citizens Continue To Go "GOP Revolt" On Health Care
I have talked about the current health care debacle here and here. The second link provides links to "revolts" at town hall meetings held by various Democrats. I could literally do an entire posting of nothing but links to town hall "revolts." See, here, here, here, here, here, etc, you get the picture. President Obama and the Democrats have really stepped in it. Instead of attempting to defuse the situation and take the high road, you have House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) calling the protesters "astroturf," "Nazis," and "racist." Obama has called upon his SEIU thugs for support and to hit back twice as hard. Now we see Obama's approval numbers tank as predicted by me. Not a hard thing to do. A few members of Congress have attempted to regain control of the debate. Too late. The people already know what the Democrats want and don't like it. You have to almost feel sorry for Senator Arlen "Two Timer" Spector (D/R/D-PA) as he is berated by angry constituents, but then you remember he was a useless RINO before switching back to the DFL. Spector is such a moron. The guy is a career politician and in WAY over his head. You made your bed Spector, now sleep in it! Intriguing idea though on how to handle the whole situation...referendum. This idea has merit because you would then see the TRUE will of the people. Conservatism! Not what the Congress wants to lie about and force to a vote. I think a referendum is a bad idea otherwise. We have elections every two years to elect those that will act on our behalf. If they don't, vote them out the next election. Don't forget, these politicians are INSANELY afraid of loosing their cushy jobs. Keep the pressure on them! Term limits is a MUST HAVE in Congress as well. Most these Congressional members have been in office since the last Ice Age. Spector has been in office since Cro-Magnon man discovered the Monolith.

I had planned to post again on Health Care, but instead decided to write about how a multitude of "boondoggles" is plaguing the DFL and President Obama. I have already written here how the Health Care debate is literally the catalyst for Obama's poll number plummet to 47% approval. Then you have a Federal budget with a $1.8 trillion deficit due to bailouts, overspending, and yes...EARMARKS. What is that you say? Obama claimed no more earmarks? Ha! They are still here and bigger than ever. I posted about the Federal budget here, here, ...
