The ACORN Fallout Continues

I wrote here about the recent downfall of ACORN.  It isn't a downfall quite yet.  It is more a revelation of what most of us already expected or knew.  Loosing funding is a good first step, but all Conservatives should want this organization prosecuted and shuttered permanently.  ACORN is conducting their own "investigation," but more is required.  There is action here, here, and more here, to get done what many have been trying to do for a long time.  I wrote here about Michelle Malkin's and Rep Michele Bachmann's (R-MN) "war" against ACORN.  These two fighters are being heard now huh?  It will be interesting to see how much "leg" this ACORN bashing and investigation get.  President Obama is knee deep in this "Community" organization.  The government is full of left-wing kooks and expect them to provide any cover possible.  ACORN is already reaping the "benefits" of its sleaziness.  Here again, there is no shortage of left-wing kooks among us.  Hopefully the investigation will cut through the politics and get to the core issue.  ACORN is a criminal organization!  The word is that the funding cutoff could affect defense contractors.   I don't know why the law can't be rewritten to apply specifically to ACORN.  Heck, ACORN is a non-profit.  Defense contractors aren't.  Figure it out buffoons!  For now...  Keep a close eye on Michelle Malkin's ACORN Watch page!

Damage control anyone? I wish the GOP had control of the House. Then we could see some warranted hearings and investigations. ACORN is still reeling from the scandal, but do you think they're down and out? Yes and no. Now ACORN is going after the brave young filmmakers who exposed these criminals. Leave it to a criminal to complain when someone else ...
