A New Low For American Capitalism and Prosperity Via Childhood Memories

Growing up in Minnesota, you would occasionally find Canadian currency in your change jar.  Usually a quarter or penny.  I remember having little "Fairs" as a kid where we would bet our spare change in various games.  Canadian quarters were always present and always rejected for three important reasons.  1)  The coins wouldn't work in vending machines.  2)  The candy store wouldn't take the money.  3)  Even us kids knew the coins were worth less than America coins.  Having said this, I give you President Obama's America.  In what world is the Canadian quarter now nearly worth the same as an American quarter?  We have nearly 10% unemployment.  The Federal Budget deficit is over $1.4 trillion.  A number that is larger than all the budget deficits since the founding COMBINED.  A National Debt near or over $11 trillion.  A number that would take 50, 75, 100 years to pay off even if, big if, the budget had a surplus.  Welcome to President Obama's America.  We are so screwed...
