Heath Care Bill Suffers Yet More Setbacks..No Surprise...But Complete Failure is Still Lacking (Updated)

The pending Health Care bill is still in trouble in the House and Senate.  Those running for election this year or next know the bill is certain doom for those who support it.  Thus, they have to distance themselves.  As is true with any legislation in Washington, all is not what it seems.  Turns out the "Public Option" only means the government will decide which Health Care companies succeed/fail.  Which private insurers will manage the plan?  Hmmm, let me guess...  Those that have been supportive of the government takeover, contributed to the DFL, have friends in the White House...you get the picture...  I posted here on a TRUE health care reform experiment.  TRUE health care insurance competition via the free market. Now how about a look into why the system is going broke.

This is sure to guarantee failure of the Health Care bill.  Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) is getting more involved now.  More here and the official Reid announcement here.  A "Public Option" with an opt-out for states?  How does a state opt-out?  Who decides?  The governor?  The state legislature?  Referendum vote?  The whole concept is fishy.  Hopefully this is the poison pill Senator Olympia Snowe talked about.  What about this?  Dumping the employer mandate?  Looks like a sop to business.  End result?  Gov teams up with biz to push unpopular bill on Americans?

Updated 10/27/2009:  Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) has failed and failed and failed and failed and failed...  An infinite failure moment for the dunce of the Senate...
