I have written here and here how the "Big Tent" mentality of most GOP "intellectuals" is misguided and a LOSER.  Well, well, well...  The useless RINO in the NY-23 race, Dede Scozzafava, has dropped out and predictably endorsed the DFL candidate.  No problem, they deserve each other.  However, Scozzafava's manager endorsed the Conservative Doug Hoffman.  Hear that Newt Gingrich?  Duh!  Gingrich has corrected his own sinking ship, but is still a "Johnny Come Lately."  Conservatism has come out swinging and is WINNING.  Just look at the current polls.  Don't mind the fact that the DFL is supporting single digit 3rd Party candidates as well to trim some support from the GOP/Conservative candidate. Yup!  The Associated Press is already in spin mode.  It would be nice for all the Conservative candidates to win, but they might not.  The point here is that there is a definite backlash against all the Big Government crap the Moderates (RINOs) and Liberals have forced upon the American people.  I expect some progress to be made by Conservatives in winning seats.  I also expect the Democrats to rethink the current direction of the country given this "close call."  I foresee trouble ahead for President Obama's agenda.  Too many Democrats are at the end of the plank right now.  The GOP might not win back the House come 2010, but Obama should be neutered by his own party for the sake of their cushy jobs...
