I wrote here about the upcoming illegal immigration amnesty fight due soon.  I also wrote here that the Dept of Homeland Security is getting even more lax on border enforcement.  Then there is the Health Care bill amnesty here.  Well, well, well...  Now it is official...  Illegal alien amnesty is coming very soon.  The United States of America.  A land built on the backs of dead Patriots that kept her free.  A land of plenty for American citizens...  Will be given away to criminal intruders...  The American dream is no longer about hard work and fortitude.  It is about birthright citizenship and the welfare state.  Those that built the country will support those who leech off of it.  If that wasn't bad enough...  The next American values "give away" is the Constitution..  Terrorists that have attacked the USA at home and abroad have been given Constitutional rights via our court system in NYC.  This is an absolute outrage!  The NY Gov is pissed.  Pundits are also ripping the decision and claiming it would destroy the DFL.  That President Obama is an incompetent boob (my words) that cannot be trusted to protect America.  I agree that it will bring out the "Security Moms" in full force come Nov 2010, but what does it matter?  The damage will have already been done.  A dangerous precedent will have been set.  The CIA, military, perhaps President Bush will have been undermined in court.  American will be made to look bad or suspicious.  State secrets will have been exposed.  Terrorists will be emboldened and see the weak punishment that awaits them, etc...  A sad sad day.

Update 11/17/2009:  I almost forgot to include two brilliant articles by Andrew McCarthy here and here on the upcoming Terrorist trials in NYC.  The segway here is McCarthy.  I had completely forgot about this debacle a few years ago that had McCarthy on the side of good.  The actions of Lynne Stewart in aiding/abetting a Terrorist on trial is just a microcosm of the insanity we have in store.  Be prepared for Cirque du Terrorism coming to a NYC court near you.  We are so screwed...
