I'm finally getting back to this matter after gorging myself on various Thanksgiving delights.  I agree that this "Climategate" scandal is the worse scientific malfeasance this century.  There was some hope for the truth to get out, but that has been damaged by this.  The raw data used to make the fraudulent "Global Warming" predictions has been destroyed by the CRU.  Isn't that convenient???  Ha!  These "Snake Oil" salesmen know they are full of it.  Gotta make sure no one can expose them via numerical analysis.  It is one thing to bust these scientists admitting their fraud in emails, but to actually have access to the same data and calculate the TRUE results would have been the Holy Grail.  I'll use this analogy.  If you use symmetric encryption to encrypt some data with a key, you can only decrypt with the same key.  What if the key was tossed?  The encrypted data is useless.  Ditto these fake "Global Warming" numbers.  Useless without the raw data.  Mark Steyn has a great read here on the missing data.  I would wonder though if the final results could be "reverse engineered" back into raw data given the methodology?  Probably not since some data was ignored, etc...  I want to use the rest of this post to remind people of what we have had to put up with the last couple decades or so due to this FRAUD.  How about ethanol mandates?  How is that working out for us? BAD!  Crappy gas mileage and extra wear/tear on our vehicles.  For what?  A "greener" fuel grown by overly subsidized farmers.  Bunk!

Update 12/1/2009: The "Climategate" scandal is heating up!  LOL...  We have a resignation.  More calls for an investigation.  I just gotta give props to Rush Limbaugh.  Limbaugh mentioned the Tobacco Company investigations/lawsuits from way back.  That these companies had hidden some research that reflected badly on their product, etc...  That the left-wing kooks went crazy over this and "Big Tobacco" essentially was fleeced for billions, smoking is banned about everywhere now, and there are still lawsuits pending...  Didn't these "Global Warming" nuts hide research that reflected poorly on their "product?"  Haven't these nuts cost the Auto Industry billions in costs and sales due to stupid regulations, mandates, etc...?  What about the billions in subsidies for "Green" energy?  Al Gore should be sued Class Action style on behalf of just about every American industry!  Will the "Global Warming" industry collapse now that it has been exposed?  Will these fraudsters loose their shirts ala the boom 90's, housing bubble, etc...?  The United Nations is clueless, but at least some other countries get it.

Update 12/2/2009: Another country gets it.  Australia has ousted one of their leaders and voted down a "Cap and Trade" system.  Here is the USA?  President Obama lives in the Universe of Lies as coined by Rush Limbaugh.  Let the dominoes fall and expose this fraud more!
