Supplies Of Dirt Cheap Democrat Senators Run Out Before Christmas

I wrote here about the crazy number of bribes in the Senate to get enough Democrats to vote for this dog turd piece of legislation.  Senate Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) appears to have bribed the last holdout and secured his 60 votes.  Of course, no one would know this under normal circumstances because all the wrangling has occurred in the evening and on weekends mostly.  Regardless, Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) who "expressed concerns" with the Senate Health Care bill...i.e..."What is in it for me?" has finally caved for a $100 million Nebraska handout. I know some of the news says $45 million, but there also reports of more.  It shouldn't even matter.  What we have here is a single Senator effectively determining the health care for those in other states.  I have an idea...  If this bill is so great, just implement it on a state-by-state basis?  Duh!  That would never fly though because the TRUE intent is overall control.  Not fixing anything or giving anyone what they want.  NO ONE WANTS THIS!  Nelson is already feeling some heat, but I'm sure this useless career bureaucratic will stand firm.  Nelson has until 2012 to let things "cool down."  Even if the bill passes and Nelson is booted, we are all still stuck with his treachery.  The CBO has already had to release a correction for goodness sakes.  This bill will wreck health care as we know it and the budget.  Word now is that the House might be the best hope to block the bill.  Rep Bart Stupak (D-MI) disagrees with the Senate's near non-existent abortion funding ban.  Time is ticking...  The Senate is in session right now looking towards a 1am EST vote.  Michelle Malkin has a thread here watching the thievery.  Read if you can stomach it...  The GOP better force a reading of the bill!  It must be exposed for the fraud it is.  We are so screwed...
