President Obama has become Dr Frankenstein, dug up the corpse of Heath Care 1.0, and resurrected Health Care 2.0.  A still ugly and smelly abomination destined to terrorize the Serfs and cause more pitchfork protests (e.g. Saved/Created farm jobs).  The Democrats have a new strategy this time though. Instead of going it alone from day one, the Republicans have been invited to a "Health Care Summit" at the White House.  The Republicans need to go home on vacation that day and STAY HOME.  However, in order to look somewhat "bipartisan," the GOP will likely be there.  We think...  I don't know how the DFL can use the reconciliation process as a threat?  I thought the GOP could offer unlimited amendments and achieve a de facto filibuster?  Here is a good look at Health Care 2.0.  Ugly, ugly, ugly...  More here.  This bill could scare squirrels out of trees.  Ugh!  Thank goodness GOP House Leader John Boehner (R-OH) has his bullshit radar on FULL power.  Boehner is right though...  This EXACT same bill was DEFEATED already.  It was beaten down and the cause of MASSIVE DFL election losses.  I suppose the DFL figures the damage has already been done so why not just keep pushing?  Ugh!  I guess we'll see what happens, but it looks like BIG FAIL 2.0 for Obama and less than 40% approval after this round of crap.  I should quick note...  I am currently between consulting gigs and PRESTO...  I still have health insurance.  Why?  I carry my own.  I don't rely on anyone else...  Duh!
