I recently wrote here about the constant state of "despair" the American educational system is in.  Oh the humanity of it all!  How schools, no matter Federal, State, Charity, et al, funds, will NEVER be considered fully funded by the greedy teachers.  Dick Morris has a brilliant article on the coming "wake up" call for the teachers' unions.  Pay cuts?  Hope so!  Private school vouchers?  There better be!  I go back to a point made many posts back.  Why do we need a Federal Dept of Education?  Hopefully, the GOP will cover that as part of their Federalism push.  How people educate their kids on a local level is none of the Federal government's business!
