The DOW dropped 1,000 points at one time late last week due to the Greek debt crisis.  Mark Steyn had a great monologue about the Greek welfare state a few weeks back, but essentially, you can retire at 50 years old in Greece with full benefits, etc...  Government run health care, etc...  You get the picture.  Few workers, many slackers...  The EU setup a bailout for Greece and one of the conditions was privatizing part of the Greek health care system!  Hmmm, so we have expensive ObamaCare forced upon us, Greece has to dump it.  Brilliant!  There are great articles all around about the inevitable collapse of the USA welfare state.  One here.  George Will is in the mix here.  I had written a while back about the pending serfdom the the American people.  Punishingly high taxes.  More regulation, more Federal government, less freedom, etc...  I ask again...  If you knew your future children would be born into a country vastly different from what you knew growing up.  If you knew your children would be born into massive unmanageable debt.  If you knew in advance that your children would be born into serfdom.  Would you have have kids at all?  Bye bye Ms America Pie, sold my Chevy to the unions, their pensions are dry...
