NASA To Land Community Activist In Mecca By 2012
What did you want to be when you grew up? Solider? Race car driver? Fighter pilot? Policeman? Fireman? Astronaut? I would bet if you're male, you had one of those things on your list at some point. Well, add Community Activist to the list. President Obama, with help from NASA, plans to land a community activist on the planet Mars by 2012. Opps... Not Mars... I meant to say Mecca. That's right. Mecca. NASA is not only out of the rocket making business now, and the Space Shuttle business soon, but will soon be out of space. NASA's new mission is ambassador to the Muslim world??? Byron York touched on this ridiculous piece of news here. More here. This revelation is virtually unbelievable, but sadly true. America was the first to land on the moon. American OWNED space exploration for decades. Now the government agency that inspired a nation for all those years can't even get a man in space to save its life. Instead, NASA will get a man into an al-Jazeera interview. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! Personally, it amazed me we even considered going back to the moon. Been there done that! Shoot for Mars. Heck, shoot for at least being able to get a man into space sans a $50 million helper via Russia. I can see it now. The Apollo 13 from yesteryear will become Star Bucks 13. Three community activists loose touch with Obama's fund raising website due to a lack of WI-FI bandwidth. George Soros and the Media Matters machine swoop in and save the day via a mobile uplink truck. Hooray! Sigh... America can't land a man on the moon now, but we sure can get an inexperienced community activist into the White House. We are sooo screwed...
