It was an interesting Tuesday this week.  Primary night around the country.  I want to first talk about political coward Senator John McCain (R-AZ).  The man spent a gazillion dollars to defeat a weak candidate.  Read...McCain might have won, but his supporters held their noses in the booth.  I suppose most figure it is best to get stuck with McCain another six years as opposed to loosing the seat to the DFL.  That might not be so far fetched considering how many Californians moved out of their broke state and into neighboring states.  Oh well, we're stuck with the "Maverick" again.  I wonder how long it will be before he is back in the middle from his journey right?  At least his daughter Meghan has been out of the news!  Look no further for political hack career politician RINO than one who fights a fellow GOP candidate for a primary win!  That is the case for Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK).  The woman is so desperate to hold her RINO infested seat, she has the NRSC sending a lawyer her way.  The NRSC better watch itself.  They supported the RINO Senator Arlen "Two Time" Spector (D/R/D-PA) back in 2004 and Spector stabbed backs.  Now Murkowski is looking to run as an independent ?  Libertarian?  Ugh!  Which brings me to the hack Charlie Crist.  The man has flipped and flopped every which way possible to score a Senate seat in FL.  The DFL candidate Meek won the primary which was bad for Crist.  Meek will gain a lot of DFL votes making it harder for Crist to win.  I'm not sure about the polling, but Rubio might be up ion the three way horse race.  The list of flips and flops Crist has performed this year is simply amazing.  I would normally predict he has ZERO chance to win, but given the inability of FL voters to use a ballot (see 2000), anything can happen.  The GOP needs to gain at least two solid Conservative Senators for each McCain, Crist, etc, that wins to ensure the Senate can hold a filibuster.  GOP Revolt!

Update 08/31/2010: Murkowski is teetering on the brink now that the NRSC has decided to stop meddling.  The RNC, NRSC, NRCC, et al, all need to accept the fact that the RINO ranks will be thinner come Nov 2010.  GOP Revolt!
