Dick Morris has two great articles out.  The most recent reiterates the impending DFL doomsday come Nov 2010.  The DFL will suffer many losses.  President Obama and the Liberal kooks he works with in DC have the country on the brink.  We need the GOP in charge of AT LEAST one branch of government to regain hope.  However, the GOP needs to really dig deep and come up with some great new ideas that go beyond just cutting taxes and spending.  We need a fundamental change in government...PERIOD!  I'm talking BIG reductions in government programs, people, et al...  Morris has a few great idea in this article.  Morris touches on a lot of ethical changes as well.  I think term limits are a GREAT idea.  I think that there should even be term limits for judges.  Perhaps a mandatory retirement age, etc...  We cannot allow career politicians.  I even would go as far as to say we should have a system in place to recall federal government officials sans the President.  Your Congressman ran on lower taxes, but raised them?  Recall!  I don't think a proven liar should be allowed to stay in office until their term is up.  At a minimum, that Congressional seat should be vacated.  No votes allowed, etc...  I think all Congressional spending should be for the general defense and welfare of America.  Not more/less depending on which Congressman/earmarks you have.  The list goes on, but enough for now.  The GOP better take advantage with IDEAS or they will loose seats come 2012.
