When Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took the gavel back in Jan 2007, she talked about "draining the swamp."  Well, after trillions in wasted taxpayer dollars, scandals involving Charlie Rangel (D-NY) (failure to pay taxes on rentals, etc...), Maxine Waters (D-CA) (funneled bailout money to bank her hubby owned stock in), Barney Frank (D-MA) (rode on private plane to Bahamas), et al...  After failing to pass a budget, but using budget rules to pass a trillion+ $ ObamaCare bill...  After all this waste, fraud, abuse, etc...  I would argue that Democrats aren't porkers, but never drained the swamp either...  Instead, Democrats are BEAVERS that dammed up the swamp and made it MUCH BIGGER...  The stench of that stagnant swamp water can be smelled all across the USA and further.  In NJ for instance .  All these Socialist countries that the Democrats would have us believe are Utopias, are "falling down...."  The UK is proposing massive spending cuts.  France is trying to cut costs, but with HUGE protests.  Of course, we already had Greece move towards austerity back in the spring, etc...  The kook Liberal Democrats in the USA have spent the last 2-4 years increasing the swamp size.  The GOP is set with dynamite to blow that huge dam, but don't be surprised if the beavers make one last run at a virtually indestructible dam come the post Nov 2010 lame duck session...  GOP Revolt!
