I about had a heart attack last week or so when it was announce there would be a 2012 GOP Presidential debate next spring.  My first thought was, "What the heck are they thinking!!!"  I'm glad someone else had the EXACT same thought.  President Obama isn't just the blankest slate in the history of politics, he is an incumbent President likely to get WAYYY weaker in the coming year and beyond.  Obama has "made his" bed, and now the GOP should make sure he stays there via their Congressional majority.  Why in the world hold a Presidential debate so far away from the election?  Heck, Hillary Clinton was the "sure thing," for 2008 and look what happened.  This debate is crap for several reasons...  1) We need to let the true players come out in their own time.  2) Why go into "battle" so early and allow the media extra time to "trash" you?  3) The new GOP majority requires time to make some moves.  Let the House GOP set the stage, and perhaps some Presidential hopefuls will chime in as desired.  Obama is the LEAST vetted President in the history of history.  The next GOP Presidential candidate will be the MOST vetted President in the history of history.  The media will see to it with their biased and corrupt reporting.  Ugh, why is the GOP so stupid and willing to eat their own???
