The Christmas and New Year season has been both ends of the emotional spectrum.  First, there is complete anger over the Senate RINOs and impotent GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.  The passage of DADT, START, RINO support of the failed $1.3 trillion Omnibus, et al, drove me INSANE.  I will say it again...  Fire McConnell!  Thankfully, there was today.  The GOP retook the House.  Not much on merit, but just for possibly being the opposite of a Democrat.  A lot is riding on the next two years.  The GOP must force Democrats to defend the Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) crap 111th Congress actions.  The GOP must play chicken with President Obama and not budge on spending.  The budget must be cut NOW.  Not next year...NOW!  There are like 23 DFL Senators up for election in 2012.  Budget rules allow for a simple majority and Senate Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) will have a hard time keep DFL defections below the 4-5 votes require for 51.  It should prove good theater.  We should also have a grand old time watching the Tea Party plot new primary runs.  The Tea Party is more organized now and should field good candidates.  We'll see what happens.  I'm just glad we can go the next two years without some new $1 trillion Federal program.  Instead, cut that budget baby!  GOP Revolt!
