Oh No! "Dreaded" Gov Shutdown Looms, House And Senate Are in Recess
The House GOP passed a limp wussy spending bill with $61 billion in cuts last week. Far, far below the $100 billion plus promised. We already know that establishment GOP members, RINOs, and various looser Republicans wanted to cut even less. Ugh! We also know that no matter what the official GOP cut total, the DFL is going to play the "Gov Shutdown" fear game with their buffoon voters. Oh the humanity! We just can't cut so much in a time of economic need! Oh! Oh! Oh! BS! Are you tell me that just two years and $1 trillion dollars less ago, the budget was too low? Ha! No matter. The GOP will cave and give back some cuts. The DFL will demonize the GOP for trying to cause a Gov shutdown, etc... I have a question for these useless political hacks in the GOP and DFL... Mostly the DFL... 1) Speaker Nancy Pelosi NEVER passed an official budget last year. Even with HUGE majorities. Where was the outcry then? 2) If this budget is so important. If a Gov shutdown is so bad, what the hell is the House and Senate doing on recess all week??? Riddle me that you lazy public servants!?!? You should all be in DC getting an actual budget passed. It is the LAW. It is expressly enumerated in the Constitution. I think the House and Senate should have their yearly salaries cut to just below $100,000. I think they should have their benefits cut as well. These public "servants" get wayyy too many days off. Get back to work jackasses!
