Unions Lose, Taxpayers Win, Justice Prevails
Another guts and glory story of out WI and the courageous WI GOP! Unions thugs have been defeated! The RNC, NRCC, NRSC, GOP, et al, better be watching this. This is how you effect change. You determine what you need/want (e.g. what voters put you in office to do), and you pursue it to the bitter end. Just look at the DFL and ObamaCare. The DFL pressed for this unpopular boondoggle to the bitter end. The GOP better press for budget cuts to the bitter end. We have a $1.5 trillion deficit! States have like $100 to $150 billion in deficits. We need reforms as in WI, but yesterday, not tomorrow. How many of you went off to college and received degrees in something useful. Something that starts with a "Bachelors of Science," "Master's of Science," but not "Bachelor's of Arts," "Master's of Arts?" Something that ends in "Engineering," "Math," "Physics," "Finance," "Accounting," etc...? Something that actually leads to innovation or the investments in such activity??? You are the infantry of the economy. You are on the front lines producing stuff. Clarification... Someone who assembles a car is not a producer. The Automotive Engineer is. You are a worker and a beneficiary of someone else's production. Also likely the beneficiary of a robot to help you via another engineer. Another clarification... Actors are not producers. They are the beneficiaries of audio/visual engineers, TV/radio, DVDs, etc... Anywho... Would you pay a bus driver the same as a Software Engineer? Or the same as a Chemist? Well, a lot of states do. WI is one of them. Ann Coulter brilliantly displays the lunacy of unions contracts awarded by Democrat politicians that receive political contributions from unions that have employees paid by taxpayers. Wow! That was a lot of words to describe MONEY LAUNDERING! $159,000 for a bus driver in WI! That is 2009 wages alone! And you wonder why we are broke. Ugh!
